Breyer Model Horse Company is known for making special edition models for select retailers or special interest groups.  These models are limited in production and highly collectible.  Watch for these "Special Run" horse models for your collection.

Riderless

The Riderless Pony Express Horse was available exclusively at Tractor Supply Company beginning October 1, 2005.  It was made as a tribute to the Pony Express horses used in 1861 and 1862 to deliver mail in the old west.  A portion of the proceeds from the sales of this model was donated to the BLM Wild Horse and Burro Foundations by Breyer and Tractor Supply.

John Wayne's Dollor

This movie stunt horse became a favorite of the famous western actor, John Wayne.  Wayne rode "Dollor" in seven of his famous westerns including True Grit and his last movie, The Shootist.  This model horse was also made exclusively for Tractor Supply Co. and was made available on Sept. 15,2006.

Morgan Family

Released September 1, 2006 for JC Penney Co., this family set includes a beautifully detailed Morgan stallion and mare.

Pinto Half Arabian Family

This Arabian family set was also released on September 1, 2006 for JC Penney co.  It consists of a stallion, mare and foal.

Beautiful Jim Key

Snowman

This PetsMart 2005 Limited Edition Model, released October 1, 2005, is a tribute to the show jumping legend, Snowman.  In 1956 trainer Harry deLeyer bought the dirty gray plow horse off a truck bound for the slaughterhouse.  His incredible talent led him to win Champion at the 1958 National Horse Show and the stakes in 1959.  He was also know for his gentle disposition,  A portion of the proceeds from the sales of Snowman were donated to PetsMart Charities.

Winsome Adante

Winsome Adante is considered one of the world's top event horses.  This model was available exclusively at the USET Web site beginning July 15, 2005.

Authentic 2006 USET Foundation Exclusive

Another USET exclusive available Sept. 1, 2006, this model is the top ranked show jumper, Authentic.

Wild Mustang Series (Black)

Made exclusively for WalMart stores and released Sept. 19,2004, these models are a tribute to the wild mustangs of the American west.  The black set consists of Eclipse, a handsome black stallion, and a beautiful tawny cougar – predator of the wild mustangs.

Wild Mustang Series (Brown)

Another WalMart exclusive made available on Sept. 19, 2004, this set consists of Dreamcatcher, a spectacularly spotted Mustand mare and her darling leopard spotted colt.
